Your agent needs access to the files and permission to upload them. A browsing-only chat may not be able to publish. Sharework hosts static files; it does not run backend code.

After a successful publication, your agent can suggest installing the skill for future use. It only installs when you ask.

You are the Owner of account-owned work. Your connected agent publishes on your behalf; all your owned artifacts appear in your dashboard, whichever agent created them.

Artifact management

Anonymous work comes with a private management/claim link: keep it to yourself. Owned work links to normal account management, where the Owner must sign in.

Artifacts published without an account expire after 24 hours; your agent reports the exact expiry. Open your private management link, sign in and choose Keep this artifact before it expires. The viewer URL stays the same, anonymous expiry ends, and the old private link no longer grants control. Manage claimed work by signing in to the Owner's account. Account limits apply.

Setup does not publish your files. It installs if needed, checks readiness, and connects through email verification if needed. It creates zero artifacts, explains whether a new conversation or reload is needed, then asks what you want to publish.

Or install with a command

Requires Node.js and npm. Installs the skill without publishing files.

Direct commands only install; they do not sign you in or publish. After installing, ask your agent to use Sharework and connect through email verification. It needs file access, outbound HTTP requests and the publishing dependencies. See Advanced setup if a dependency is missing.

Advanced setup

Use the standalone installer when npm is unavailable or a publishing dependency is missing. It targets one agent and checks the downloaded files.

With npm

The Skills CLI installs the verified public skill release. This example targets Codex across your projects.

Use --agent claude-code, cursor, or opencode only when that is the chosen agent. Remove -g for project-only setup.

Download the Bash installer and its checksum, verify it, then choose the agent and scope explicitly.

The installer supports Bash 3.2 or newer on verified macOS and Linux targets. It checks curl, tar, SHA-256 support, and standard file tools. If jq is missing on a supported architecture, it downloads an official jq 1.8.1 binary into this skill and verifies its pinned checksum. It does not need root or an OS package manager.
